Fireworks Interruptus
I was able to purchase some quite illegal fireworks to set off at the dock at Candlewood Lake a few years ago. The police received a noise disturbance call and arrived. They waited up top to watch a few of the fireworks and then came to say no more after this. Jimbo piped up "we have a few more left, come have something to eat". The policemen ate burgers, chili and a brownie while we finished the fireworks show. The Mayor saved the show!
